Wallabies, parrots, farm animals

Liane and Brady did a wonderful job hosting us on their property! They were incredibly welcoming, and we loved having the opportunity to visit and interact with their animals. The cottage was spacious, clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

We were welcomed on arrival by our friendly hosts, and given a quick "rundown" on the property and its features. Our cottage was spacious and pleasantly decorated, with some charming rustic touches that added to its quirky old-fashioned vibe. Plenty of living space to move around, and the galley kitchen was well-equipped, including some boutique tea varieties which we really savored. Beautifully appointed old-school bathroom too. A flock of green rosellas and a couple of wallabies emerged for a late afternoon feed. We all enjoyed the morning feeding of the farm animals - chooks, a Shetland pony and highland cows. One of the owners, Brady, kept us entertained with many humorous tales; quite an education! A wonderful experience all round; we'd be happy to stay again. Well done!

Having to depart the next day

Comfortable, well appointed, sizeable apartment. Bush property with opportunity to see local native birds and animals. Pleasant owners who are ready to do all they can to enjoy your stay. Some farm animals and owners invite guests to accompany them for feeding. Property is a reasonable size, and guests are able to walk around and explore. Nice quiet area with a relatively short drive into St Helens for shops and restaurants.

Some areas of the property could do with a tidy up.

The owners were lovely people, they give you a tour of the farms and we can feed the animals. We learnt so much about their passion ! They are very caring people and do care about their animals and their guests. Beautiful cottage, perfect with a dog too :) The cottage was well equipped and super clean. We wish we would have stayed longer… it was too short … Location is great too, so close to St Helen and the bay of fires. Highly recommend !! Thank you so much to Liane and Brady
