Un peu de salé au petit dej serait appréciable.

Excellent breakfast and very kind an lovely hosts. it is right in front of the river Loire so we had great views. It is also within walking distance from a good restaurant

Lovely room in a beautiful home with stunning views over the River Loire. Comfy bed and well equipped bathroom with a great shower and a loo with a view. Breakfasts were delicious with fresh fruit and wonderful croissants from the nearby bakery (great filled baguettes and quiches for picnic too) and, each morning, there was always a freshly made cake. Vanilla cake was my favourite. The location of the property was perfect for visiting many tourist attractions - châteaux, caves and Fontevraud Abbey as well as Saumur being only 12 minutes away. Within the village there is also a good restaurant with a terrace overlooking the Loire. Our hosts were friendly, very welcoming and were keen to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We'll definitely return.

A little difficult to find the first time. Gennes is a district encompassing many small villages. Chenehutte is the actual village where the house sits. Once you know that it's easy.
