There is no breakfast here but a full kitchen plus common room are provided and only two guestrooms shared this classic two-up/two-down house, so the conveniently placed convenience is not overtaxed. The bus stop for two routes in very convenient, and a third route is close. I was so pleased with this house, that when I mixed up the review with another Belfast house, I went to some trouble to correct the review to give the house its due!

Due to Belfast's peculiar politics, the location was not ideal for me, but was not as bad as it might have been, though it was deep into Eastside, and not really convenient for walking to the center or tourist sites. I also prefer accommodation with live-in staff.

The location was what suited the most. The room itself could easily have been ideal, but sadly was not. Had any staff been available, problems might have been sorted. No kitchen or common room or fridge being available, nor any breakfast was a big drawback.

All hotels or hostels need to be more convincing on the cleanliness of bedding. Also, see above answer. Lastly, security was lacking, unexpectedly. Instructions proved inaccurate. Again, sadly, drawbacks could easily be fixed.

Great room, with really comfortable beds. More spacious than it appeared on the photos. Kitchen was very well equipped, with most things needed to cook meals - could do with a few more oven dishes, but we managed with what was there. Great public transport links into the city and supermarket for supplies - which saved a great deal of expense.

There is a second room in the property that is also rented out. It wasn’t clear from the listing that this would be the case - I had thought that we would be sharing with the owner himself. This was not a problem, once we realised the situation, but it was a little unnerving and felt uncomfortable initially as we didn’t know who else was in the house. This is compounded by it being a small house with shared bathroom and kitchen, so felt quite intimate. We also didn’t know when someone was leaving and a new person coming in and realised that our presence might have been quite unnerving for a single woman that arrived during our stay, that we didn’t actually meet. Suggestion: Maybe a whiteboard could be put up that had dates/ approx time of arrivals and departures. There could be space for people to write their own names in if they wanted to, whether they were happy to chat, any other info they were happy to share. The cleaning was ok but not thorough and the bathroom needs a little tlc - taps broken and other little issues, but was otherwise functional and ok for the money. We needed some additional pillows and bedding.

Bon emplacement, à quelques arrêts de bus du centre-ville.

Aucun ménage fait pendant les 4 jours sur place. Faible niveau d'entretien et de sécurité. Des grands draps étalés grossièrement dans le couloir pour le séchage. J'ai quitté l'endroit un jour plus tôt que prévu, car peu satisfaite. J'ai pris un autre hébergement de remplacement. Tant pis pour le paiement déjà fait.
