The size of the apartment is perfect for two people. The kitchenette is a bit dated but functional. The location is very quiet, and we loved the running creek behind the house.
We arrived after a long flight and drive from Frankfurt and discovered that the apartment wasn't cleaned upon our arrival. However, the owner arranged for a cleaning crew, which arrived within 20 minutes.

Die Lage war sehr schön!
Die Wohnung hat ein Schimmelproblem. Da das ein bauliches Problem ist, ist das für den Vermieter sicher schwierig. Hinzu kam aber noch, dass die Wohnung wenig gepflegt und kramig war: Putzutensilien, Kinder-Bettchen, Wäscheständer standen offen rum, bzw. lagen sichtbar unter dem Bett. Das erzeugte leider kein Wohlfühlgefühl. Hauptschimmelort Badezimmer war zudem kaum geputzt, der Fußboden staubig, die altertümlichen dunkelbunten Fußmatten waren schmutzig, Schränken aufgequollen und der Spiegel verschmiert. I'm Kühlschrank lagen ein großes (Gott sei Dank foliertes) Fleischstück und eine Dauerwurst, die dort sicher schon länger ausharrten. Der 2-Platten-Herd (kein Backofen vorhanden) war kaputt und oben drauf stand stattdessen ein 2-Platten-Kocher... Mit Kleinigkeiten kann man leben. Aber dies alles war zuviel.
