Le Petit Palais Notre Dame - Heart of Dijon - With AC

Dat de accomodatie zo midden in de stad lag, maar toch heel rustig en stil. Wij waren er toen het rond de 40 graden was en konden door de centrale ligging tussendoor even de koelte in het appartement met airco opzoeken. Alles wat we voor 2 dagen nodig hadden was aanwezig. Perfect voor onze korte verblijf! De eigenaren hebben ons ook goed geinformeerd met de benodigde codes voor het hek, de deur naar de toren en de deur naar ons appartement.

These wonderful apartments couldn’t be more centrally located. The building itself is old, but the apartment is very cozy and has excellent sound insulation. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Thanks to the air conditioning, we stayed cool and comfortable even during the hottest days.

It’s worth keeping in mind that, as this is an old building without an elevator, you will need to carry your suitcase up staircase yourself.

The apartment has been beautifully and tastefully renovated and is charming located right in the centre of the old town just metres away from the Notre Dame and Tourist Office, delicious boulangerie, supermarket and yet is very peaceful and quiet. The apartment was sparkling clean with a comfortable bed and good quality linens. The owners provided a useful information booklet and the use of a washing machine in the apartment is invaluable for when you are touring around. We highly recommend and so pleased we found this gem for our stay. Thank you.

The apartment had the amenities listed on their website and the location is good. It's not a bad place to stay at, but I found it to be a disappointment.

The instructions for entering the area/building/room are provided via an email prior to your stay. Initially, you'll need to enter the area by entering a code. The instructions will tell you to push hard on the gate once the code has been entered. Believe them -- you'll need to push with some force to get the gate open. From there it's a short walk to the apartment building. I've included a picture of the building you'll need to entry. This is the second code you'll need to enter. Entering this door is not a problem. Once the door is open you'll walk up a series of steps, without luggage is somewhat of a challenge and becomes more challenging with luggage. Fortunately, there aren't many steps to climb. Once you reach this level, you'll see two doors push the door on the right. Your room is at the end of a short hallway. Enter the code to the lockbox to get the key to the door. The room was clean, bathroom/shower are small. I would suggest you bring your own toiletries. The washer/dryer and AC work great. The ironing board is small and almost useless.
