Palms of Destin, Gulf and pool views, Great amenities

The property has a great location with beautiful beach and pool views. The pools were clean, the amenities were nice, and the room was comfortable. Overall, it was a pleasant place to stay.

I found the property to be a little dirty. There was sand from the beach in several areas, the beds didn’t seem very clean, and the toilets were also a bit dirty. The elevator issues were also concerning, as one got stuck while I was inside and the other was out of service. Other than that, everything else was excellent.

Ww loved the ammenties and the location.

Overall the property was great the condo we stayed in could use a detailed cleaning. Tub had a ring around it and floors were not mopped. The first shift security guard, heavy set caucasian man was extremely rude. Everytime he walked past us he had some rude unnecessarily comment. We ignored him. Overall the stay was great and we would return.

The condo was perfect, very comfortable bed, very clean. The location was perfect.

I liked that the property was convenient to Walmart and other places and activities on Emerald Drive.

Upon arrival to the property only one elevator was working our entire stay. One day both elevators were broken. I did not like that the second bedroom was very small like a closet and the washer and dryer was located inside the bedroom. I also did not like that as soon as we entered the property and attempted to slide the glass door back the handle broke . The incident was reported immediately and no one showed up to fixed the handle our entire four day stay. It was unfortunate that the only access to the balcony was through the Master Bedroom . We had no privacy the entire time . We received checkout instructions that requested us to wash any beach towels used, as well as strip all the bed sheets and do not include beach towels in with the beds sheets . We washed the beach towels and left them in the dryer. (Surely I wasn’t suppose to fold them as well). After my departure the Owner contacted me to notify me that the cleaning crew reported two missing beach towels and I will be charged $50.00. I notified the owner that the beach towels were in the dryer and asked if any accommodations could be made for the 4 night inconvenience of having the Master bedroom be the only access to the deck. I was informed that the earliest they could get someone to come out was the day after our departure and that they could not offer accommodations because the cleaning crew never reported a loose door handle prior to my arrival. I’m assuming the same cleaning crew that missed the beach towels in the dryers. Needless to say , we paid over 2k for our 4 days stay. The condo is a little dated but still a nice place.
