A casa e o seu espaço envolventes eram do melhor que há. Umavtranquilidade enorme, um espaço acolhedor e que cumpriu todos os requisitos necessários. A piscina limpa, o espaço agradável e limpo. As camas eram bastante confortáveis e o espaço da casa era fantástico. Não posso também deixar de referir a simpatia da D. Fátima, que nos recebeu como se de amigos nos tratássemos. Uma experiência 5 estrelas, a repetir sem dúvida!

My partner and I arrived at Casa Carvalhal do Esporão on a dark, rainy night in December after having spent the day hiking through the stunning mountains that are a short drive from the property. We arrived cold and wet to a warm fire, a spotless and stylish home, and a big smile from the host who spoke fluent English, Spanish, and Portuguese. After allowing us to dry our clothes by the fire, she ensured that we had something to eat and drink after a long journey. She also made sure we were not allergic to and comfortable with animals before she let her extremely cute, gentle, and loving pets enter the home. Before retreating to her guest house and leaving us with the entire house, she made excellent recommendations on where to eat and even called ahead to make sure they were open and would accommodate us as soon as we arrived. The bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom was complete with all amenities and ample hot water. Even if this were all we experienced, she would have earned a top review. However, in the morning she ordered fresh bread to be delivered free of charge and made final hiking recommendations before we set off. Casa Carvalhal do Esporão rivals the concierge service and comfort of the top hotels in major cities, all while being situated in a truly breathtaking landscape. It is my opinion that this stay was easily worth double the price. I cannot recommend the home, the host, or DeeDee (her extremely sweet podengo) enough. Agora, em português 🇵🇹 A minha namorada e eu chegámos à Casa Carvalhal do Esporão numa noite escura e chuvosa de dezembro, depois de termos passado o dia a fazer caminhadas pelas deslumbrantes montanhas que ficam a pouca distância de carro da propriedade. Chegámos com frio e molhados e fomos recebidos por uma lareira acesa, uma casa impecável e elegante, e um grande sorriso da anfitriã, que falava fluentemente inglês, espanhol e português.
