Afrodite's House

Glossa is a wonderful place in the northern part of the island full of narrow streets. The owner guided us to the apartment so that we would not get lost in the narrow streets. The apartment thrilled us. The apartment has been recently renovated. The kitchen is modernly equipped, we found everything we needed. There are 3 air conditioning units, a washing machine, a dishwasher. The bathroom and rooms are clean and tidy. We appreciated the terrace in front of the house for evening sitting and barbecue. In the town there are several small restaurants, a shop and a great bakery where they will prepare an all-day brunch for you. Glossa was a great choice for us. We would love to come back. Very nice house, well furnished and equipped; new, modern, very clean as well. Nice view, very useful outside terrace. Despite the very very narrow streets, there is a private parking spot a few minutes of walking distance. You need to take a detour around the hill to reach the house by car, which makes the experience authentic and original: better than Cinque Terre because you get the quietness of an isolated house but also the experience of accomodation on a village built vertically on a hill. It is a few minutes of walking distance from the center of Glossa. The hosts are great people. We were there with our two kids and had a great time.

A beautiful, authentic and warm property! Very clean and well appointed with a great location and very convenient parking. The owners/hosts greeted us and gave us the best local knowledge of the area - you can’t beat that! We loved the town of Glossa. Reminded us of Santorini with its little alleyways and beautiful Taverns with live bands. Except It wasn’t very touristy or over crowded at all and the whole island was very green and full of pine trees. We would definitely stay again!
