Walpole Bay 2 bed Stunning Garden Apt By Adliv

Apartment was very clean and well presented with quirky decorations and all amenities provided. Host very responsive and even provided decaffeinated coffee pods for the machine which was very kind.

This is a great apartment. It's in a fabulous location, right on the beach. We had 2 outside areas (one accessible from the living room, and one accessible via one of the bedrooms). The kitchen was very well equipped with a lot more than I would have expected, including a washing machine, oven, stove, microwave, toaster and kettle as well as a coffee pod machine. Plus a proper fridge freezer. As we self catered we saved a lot of money by buying frozen food and cooking each evening. And I loved being able to put my swimming stuff in the washing machine rather than take it home all briny. The decor is modern and appealing, with lots of art all over the flat and some thoughtfully selected books, including art books, cookbooks, and local information. The decor in the bedroom nearest the bathroom was gorgeous and cosy with William Morris curtains and vintagey furniture.

There are 2 sofas in the living room. One of them is a very uncomfortable futon- basically painful to sit on because the planks poke into your bum. But it can be folded out as an extra bed, so swings and roundabouts I guess. The other one is OK, but only a 2 seater so we were a bit squashed. Changing it for a 3 seater would make the apartment tons more comfortable. The wifi is very poor, and as I had no mobile signal either, I basically couldn't use my phone at night. We tried to watch the smart TV, but it was so slow to connect that we gave up.

Amazing location for all that Margate has to offer. Love the tidal pool and the closeness to Northdown Road.

It’s a comfy apartment for a few days. The sofas aren’t hugely comfortable but we didn’t spend much time in to be affected by this x

The property was nicely decorated. Basement apartment with 2 small patio gardens. Good facilities

There was a number of things that could be looked at in this apartment. A fresh lick of paint would make it more high quality. Considering the price. - [ ] Living room - Carpet is ripped - [ ] Twin Bedroom - marks on the wall under hanging space, mark behind door from the door. - [ ] Kitchen - marks on wall near back door. From chairs and table? - [ ] Living room - Lamp not working - [ ] Living room - marks on wall under tv - [ ] Living room - marks on wall behind chair under “bless this acid house” picture. - [ ] Hall way - numerous marks on wall. We booked via booking.com for 3 adults, 1 child and a dog. We were advised when contacted by the company who runs the management for the apartment that we were booked for 2 adults only which required a further charge to be amended On the booking information there is no where about a preauthorisation being required. Thankfully the director said it was covered by booking.com for any damage that may occur because I was very very unhappy about it. Not everyone has an extra £200.00 to be held on their card. Booking.com don’t seem to share the correct information with either consumer or supplier which causes a lot of frustrations and upset. Tv doesn’t have any normal channels it does however have Netflix, Disney and anything internet related. There was some work being done to the outside of the building, which had scaffolding up. At 9am in the morning there were 2 work men taking the scaffolding down my only issue was that they were throwing boards and other dangerous stuff to each other which is a recipe for disaster when you have a 5 year old and a dog directly underneath. In the stair way of the apartments it smells like damp.
