One of the best homestay experiences of my life. They are so well managed, and extremely efficient, very liberal (we could come back at 2 pm from our city roaming and they would be just fine with it) and have an unbelievable level of professionalism. The rooms are excellent, and the food is home cooked and very yummy. The best part is that they don't want you to experience their place as a hotel or a homestay, but a home away from home where strangers are welcomed as not just friends but as a family...

Breakfast and dinner were excellent. We stayed 6 nights and had a different meal for breakfast and dinner every day
We didn’t like the noisy road but obviously that is beyond the control of Raison D’etre

Lovely location just off main road, outside and inside is stunning (and spotless). Hosts were very accommodating and friendly.
Breakfast is cheap and tasty and they offer clothes cleaning service for very cheap also.
Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!!

Raison D'etre is an excellent place to stay, it's like our another home. It's one of the best accommodations at the cheapest rate, ever we could find there at Kazhakootam, near Trivandrum. It's very neat and clean. The breakfast they served was delicious.
Mr. Vimal, a very pleasant guy, who is the Manager of the property was so humble and simple, also very sincere and ready to serve us, anytime during our stay. He will be always cherished in our memories, due to his dedication to make us most comfortable, always.
