Apartment 2, Gorwel Glas

Well positioned for area, sightseeing etc.. Car parking for 2 vehicles, no problem. 2 pubs local within walking distance 5mins, although one of them has a management issue at time of the review, so no food available. But large eating area if situation changes. (The Ship Inn).

The apartment 2 is up 4 flights of stairs, with poorly lit stairwells. The Tv in the master bedroom and living area is too complex to use easily. Eventually we mastered the sitting room TV, the projector, we tried to track down the switch to bring down the screen, but by the time we found it, we deemed it worthless. Far too many remote controls making it mind numbing sorting out the various gizmos! Wifi is too unreliable it keeps dropping out , have to keep resetting the plug in mobile hotspot console, apartment could do with two more at least, especially in master bedroom where the signal is more off than on! The mastered-room bathroom is understandably tight, but the toilet seat requires adjustment, as lid slides about. (This should be picked up by regular maintenance team or the weekly cleaners. The cleaning was not deep clean, the radiator in the master toilet was marked with water stains upon arrival. We found a shuttle cock just under the leading edge of the bed in same room. Which was easily seen when walking in the room. Which tells me no one hoovered the room thoroughly. Even though 6 hours between previous vacating visitors and our arrival. Shower head in Master on suite bathroom is pathetic. I tried to turn the head shower boss, to see if it changed the power or type of water flow, but the water just spews out of the head. When shower is turned off, the head rattles inside, so I imagine it’s faulty, but again this should be picked up by regular maintenance checks. Second double room had tea /coffee stains down one side of the door frame! We cleaned it off ourselves upon arrival. We thought it rather strange that the Wine glasses were mainly plastic, the type for outdoor use! Rather strange as glasses for soft drinks were actually real glass! So it’s not as though a no glass policy was in place? Rather poor for adults to drink from I suggest.

Sehr viel Platz für die ganze Familie. Komplett eingerichtete Küche. Sehr helle Räume. Strand fußläufig (12 Minuten) zu erreichen.

Wohnung ist unter dem Dach und das Treppenhaus, wie in UK üblich, sehr eng.

Lovely apartment in good location, pub within walking distance that served food. Beds were comfortable and nice touch of welcome bubbly, juice and a sweets, we were all adults but enjoyed the sweets 😋 🤣🤣

The blind would not stay down in the double bedded room and could not work out how to get the sound on the projector screen as men were watching football but were happy to watch on tv instead.
