Lovely location, quiet well appointed hotel

Rooms were large, clean and very comfortable. Lovely bathroom too. Tea & coffee facilities in the room were very welcome. Nice breakfast.

Comfortabele but lost glory, though a high potential

The rooms are new, there is still a hint of paint in the air. The beds are very comfortable. We heard from people in the village that the director of the thermal spa bought the beautiful building La souveraine in May and it is recently opened to welcome guests after being left empty for 30 years. Now they are gradually improving the building and hotel. That information in mind makes sense, the exterior of the building could definitely need some love and paint but is future work.

The bathroom seemed new but why then the choice for a small bathtub and shower in one (you know, where you have to step in the bathtub to shower) when you have such a large bathroom? More comfortable choices could have been made. It has to much sense of lost glory to be really worth the 100 euro for a night (without breakfast). The offer of a casino next door, well the casino is just as much lost glory as the hotel. And besides the black jack table, there are only digital machines.. seems to be the hotspot of the place, it was full of people. Sad there is nothing else to do in the evening.

Very nice breakfast in a nice dining room. Clean and big rooms. We appreciated the fluffy bathrobes and towels. Beautiful building with a nice park outside.

Charming stay

You could feel the authenticity. It was good the hotel was renovated but still you could feel how it must have been, staying in the past.

Staff couldn’t speak English very well. But they really did their best AND they were super kind. I wasn’t allowed to go to the spa with my 11 years old daughter. That was really really really disappointing because that was one of the reasons why I picked the hotel…I wanted a good, relaxing start of my vacation.

In onze kamer 206 was de radiator in de badkamer waarschijnlijk al een tijdje niet ontlucht en warmde het maar voor de helft met waterlopend geluidje als gevolg. De wc-papierhouder is op een enorm slechte plaats gemonteerd.

Super Hotel für einen kurzen Aufenthalt.

Es gab ein für französische Verhältnisse gutes Frühstück. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sehr gemütlich. Das Personal hat einem jeden Wunsch erfüllt und war sehr freundlich. Es gab ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze vor Ort.

Leider ist das Hotel nicht barrierefrei.

On s'y sent bien, on est bien ac'est formidable, reposant et propre

L'emplacement parfait, stationnement impeccable, ambiance luxueuse et de bon goût et réactualisé. Grande chambre, écran tv immense, lit très confortable nous aurions aimé faire une très grande grasse matinée d'ailleurs. Choix dans les oreillers à disposition. Dessus de lit et rideaux avec double rideaux de belle qualité, d'ailleurs ceux-ci étaient isolants à la température et au bruit. Grande armoire, petit réfrigérateur avec 2 bouteilles d'eau Contrexeville offerte. De plus, mise à disposition offerte de thé ou café, c'est bien lorsque l'on quitte l'hôtel éventuellement avant l'ouverture du petit-déjeuner ou pour ceux comme nous qui ne déjeunons jamais le matin. Personnel souriant, réactif à nos demandes. Propreté exemplaire.

Week-end de fermeture des thermes de Contrexéville, l’hôtel était calme et le personnel attentionné. Hôtel confortable, chambres spacieuses, bon petit-déjeuner. Bon week-end en famille avec balades en forêt à proximité, thermes de Vittel à moins de 10 minutes en voiture.

Hotel gelegen aan kuurpark

Prachtig hotel, heel mooi gelegen aan het kuurpark. Mooie ruime kamer. Prima bedden. Parkeren is gratis, mogelijk rondom het hotel. Videobewaking aanwezig. Ontbijt prima, helaas alleen had alle thee een speciaal geursmaakje.

Ondanks dubbele beglazing is de kamer aan de stadskant toch behoorlijk gehorig.

Fijne plek om te overnachten als tussenstop van zuid naar noord (en andersom). Wij waren er al eens eerder. Lekkere royale kamer. Prima badkamer. Hele goede matrassen !!! Prima ontbijt. Parkeren rondom hotel zonder extra kosten. Er is geen lift in het hotel. maar dat vinden we niet zo erg. Wij hebben gedineerd in het restaurant van het nabij gelegen Casino. Dat is ons heel goed bevallen.

Charmantes Hotel mit Geschichte und modernem Komfort

Super freundlicher Empfang, toll renoviertes Hotel mit altmodischem Charme, wir wären gerne länger geblieben. Auch das Frühstück hat uns beeindruckt, ganz feiner Käse, Walnüsse, regionaler Honig, Apfelmus... Lecker!

Der Fußboden im Bad hat ganz mies geklebt. Auf der Deko-Decke auf dem Bett waren Flecken. Im Infoheft auf dem Zimmer hatte jemand Kreuzchen gemacht. Wozu braucht man ein knüddeliges weißes Blatt Papier auf dem Schreibtisch? Ärgerliche und überflüssige Kleinigkeiten in einem sonst so fantastischen Haus! Ach so, und verlassen Sie sich nicht auf die Beschriftung der Teedosen, da sind andere Sorten drin. Und leider ist das Wasser aus dem Kaffeeautomaten nicht heiß genug für den Tee...

Sehr schönes Hotel in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Jakobsweg

Unmittelbare Nähe zum Jakobsweg. Eine unglaublich freundliche Mitarbeiterin am Empfang, die sich um alle Wünsche direkt gekümmert hat (wie z.B. Taxi bestellen). Ich habe mich von Anfang an wohl gefühlt und werde definitiv wiederkommen.

Ein Getränkeautomat im Eingangsbereich für die Nacht wäre super.
