Lots of stairs make this not ideal for those with disabilities- not applicable to us though but worth pointing out

The location is great and the bed is comfortable. Apartment has a refrigerator.

Weak internet and TV had no connection. It wasn't every day that there were coffee capsules.

Location is excellent - right in the heart of the old town, lovely rooftop terrace with sunbeds and a table for eating etc and an excellent view of the harbour and lighthouse. The room itself is very nice and spacious with comfortable beds.

There are no fire safety measures in this property apart from a couple of fire extinguishers, there is no mains supplied fire alarm or even simple smoke detectors in the rooms which extreamely dangerous - if a fire broke out down in the bar there would be no warning for the guests whatsoever - everyone would probably die. My wife was so worried about it after the first night we found an electrical store (near the minoan cinema) that sold smoke detectors so we purchased one for our room. Should not have to do this when paying £200 per night. We couldnt believe this was even legal for Greece to be honest and this property should be removed from booking.com until it meets basic fire saftey standards.
