About this villa rental
House completely renovated (work recently completed), spacious, not overlooked with green space, to spend a good holiday with family or friends.
With a surface area of 160m2, it can accommodate up to 10 people maximum.
Close to a cycle path, shops. Close to the ocean, Cap-Ferret, Lake Lacanau and Médoc vineyards.
A SPACIOUS HOUSE OF 160M2
In order to spend unforgettable moments with family or friends, indoors and outdoors, a harmonious living space is at your disposal. Whatever the weather, whatever the time and whatever the mood, you can settle down in the quiet, in the furnished garden furniture, for a morning coffee croissant, a lunch in the shade of the parasol (or in the sun with total sunscreen)!
A QUIET ENVIRONMENT
The 500 m2 garden will allow you to sit in a green setting, to bask in the sun, listen to the song of the birds who enjoy coming to stay, play petanque, football, volleyball.... set your best score at table tennis or simply enjoy the calm.
ADAPTED AND EFFICIENT EQUIPMENT
You will enjoy restful nights in new and comfortable bedding, in white cotton gauze sheets, on soft pillows. The air conditioning installed in the house will improve your comfort.
You will let your cooking skills express themselves in a large and very well stocked kitchen, both in pots, pans and casserole and various molds, blender... Not to mention the BBQ with the essential utensils for grill evenings!
Guests can enjoy a quiet moment of relaxation in the living room.
Sheets, towels, bath mats, dish towels (and even an apron) will be provided only for a long stay (only for stays of more than 3 nights), to lighten your minds and your luggage.
A cot, a high chair and a deckchair will be available on request.
AN IDEAL LOCATION
The house is served by a tarmac access, with parking, away from traffic lanes. The cycle path is only 30 meters from the house and serves the 1st shops located barely 200 meters away. The municipal market is barely 1km away every Thursday morning.
The house has a major asset in high season: quick access to the Ocean, Basin and Lake beaches in high season.
The Lake of Lacanau (Longarisse and La Grande Escourre) is only 15km away, you can take the cycle path to get there.
The beach of Porge Océan is 9km away. You can enjoy the surf spots then have a refreshing drink and finish with a good restaurant on your return.
25 minutes from the nearby Lège Cap-Ferret peninsula, you can discover the small oyster farming villages, visit the Arcachon Bay by boat: the Ile aux Oiseaux, the Banc d'Arguin...
You can practice fun and sports activities (surf schools, horse riding, paddle, windsurfing, pedal boats, catamarans, water skiing) or if you prefer to take the hiking or cycling trails.
For the little ones who don't yet know how to swim or play in the waves, the Saint-Brice d'Arès beach - less than 6 km away - is ideal. Its water retention basin of the Basin (you can't make this up!) is surrounded by a magnificent wooded beach. A few picnic tables will be appreciated when it's time to pull out the long-awaited snack!
You will get on your bike from the gate to join the directly accessible cycle paths and thus walk with family or friends, in the heart of the intoxicating pine forests to reach the beach of Porge Océan, the Lake or the Basin.
You can also make an excursion to the Médoc vineyards located 40-45min, Bordeaux 45-50min.

Sévrine's large house has been completely renovated to bring it up to date. Away from the main road but close to amenities is the ideal place to relax with children, family and friends. Communication with Séverine was friendly and easy, and other family members, who live nearby, are very helpful. The house is very well equipped, but travelers from abroad, be aware that you need to rent bedding, towels and buy the necessities for the washing machine, dishwasher, and condiments for the kitchen.
Finally, the house is very well located. Only a quarter of an hour's drive from the magnificent beach of Le Porge, and close to the other attractions of the region (the whole of the Archachon basin, as well as Bordeaux), we'd be delighted to come back!
