About this house rental
Our thatched-roof house, “Haus Lieschen,” is located in the heart of Goosefeld, nestled among birch trees and a green, flower-filled meadow. The house underwent a comprehensive and loving renovation in 2020–2021.
It features two bedrooms, a large living room, and a dining area. We’ve furnished everything with attention to detail. The wood-burning stove, the sofas, and the carefully preserved charm of the old thatched cottage create a cozy atmosphere. Our house is surrounded by a large garden with a big sandbox. The Baltic Sea is 5 km away.
Goosefeld is located 4 km from the Baltic Sea in Eckernförde. It’s an ideal starting point for bike rides and other nature explorations in the surrounding area, such as Wittensee, the Hüttner Berge, the Schlei, and Kiel. The region is characterized by lovely green countryside by the sea.
A stroll through Eckernförde with a fish sandwich and a stop at the Bonbonkocherei is always recommended. There’s a wave pool with a highly recommended sauna, as well as a weekly market on Wednesdays and Saturdays where you can find regional foods. In addition, you can buy fish fresh from the fishing boat every morning (except Sundays) at the harbor.
During the summer months, the NordArt art festival in Büdelsdorf is also worth a visit.
