About this chalet rental
Impeccable views from this mountain chalet tucked in the trees on one of North Idaho's most beautiful golf courses! 3,800 sq feet of custom built, modern rustic charm with radiant floor heat throughout. Open floor plan with 30 ft ceiling, gas fireplace, chef's kitchen with Wolf range, and huge granite island. Dining table converts to a ping pong and pool table for after dinner gaming. Private, fenced yard surrounded by trees. Close to town but feels far away as elk are frequent visitors here! Walking in, the great room with floor to ceiling windows and cozy gas fireplace welcomes you.
The main floor master suite with reclaimed wood walls, giant soaker tub, and tile shower is just down the hall from the half bath and laundry room. Upstairs, find a quaint reading area with spectacular views of the mountains and golf course. Also upstairs, two more bedrooms and the guest bathroom with dual vanity. Steps away, find the large gym which is used as our 4th bedroom with two queen beds. The gym is complete with treadmill, weights, and bench. There is also a daybed and a trundle in the loft area.
The 3 car heated garage has a kitchenette, half bath, and a separate tv/movie area. We keep the heat in the garage lower in the colder months, so if you plan on using this space in the winter, let us know and we can turn the heat up ahead of time. Our fully fenced back yard is complete with a custom stone patio, large table with gas fire pit, Traeger smoker/grill, and covered seating to relax in the shade. In the warmer months, enjoy the sun bathing area and two hammocks, perfect for watching the hummingbirds who frequently visit. You will have the whole house to yourself minus 2 locked closets and 1 locked storage room. Please respect locked spaces. We are only a message or call away if you need anything at all!
The Silver Valley is one of Idaho's best kept secrets with its rich mining history, captivating beauty, and easy access to Coeur d'Alene, Montana, and Washington! The awesome town of Kellogg is 15/20 mins west of Wallace and 35 mins east of Coeur d'Alene. Parking is in the garage, driveway, or street. You can walk to the AMAZING and unique Galena Ridge mountain golf course, or take a quick 5 minute drive to ski, mountain bike, and enjoy the waterpark at Silver Mountain Resort. Lookout Pass and the infamous Hiawatha Trail are only a 20 minute drive. T
here are 3 true bedrooms however our large bonus room which we have set up as our gym has a queen size bed and kind size bed in it for the 4th bedroom. We also have a loft space overlooking the living room that we have set up a daybed and trundle. There are 2 full bathrooms and 2 half baths. The listing says “not suitable for babies/children” because there aren’t child safety measures in place. (i.e., no cabinet locks, baby gates, outlet covers, no cordless blinds, rails/heights with no guard, etc.). Cleaning supplies and alcoholic beverages are not locked up so please supervise pets and anyone under the age of 21. For winter bookings: the roads to our driveway are paved and plowed. If snow is in the forecast, an AWD vehicle is recommended as you go up a hill to get to the house.

Such a beautiful peaceful stay. The house location is nice and private with amazing views. We enjoyed the back patio very much as well. Just a note the upstairs bedrooms don’t get cool enough. Putting in a little unit like the one in the master on the main floor would be a great idea.
