About this house rental
Welcome to our historic, three-story row home in Petersburg, VA! Built in 1869, our cozy and comfortable space is perfect for families or groups of up to eight guests. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms provide ample space. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, private patio, and cozy living and family rooms.
Our home is a five-minute walk from downtown Petersburg's historic architecture, restaurants, and shops. Attractions like Petersburg National Battlefield, Pamplin Historical Park, Upper Shirley Vineyards, and Pocahontas State Park are just a short drive away.

INTERIOR
The space consists of a living room, a family room, and a fully-equipped kitchen.
There are also four bedrooms and three complete bathrooms included.

An outdoor patio is also present.
***Please note, although there is a deck beyond it, guests are strictly prohibited from venturing beyond the black wrought iron fence at the end of the patio.***

I am here for you during your stay, or I can be invisible. It's up to you. If needed, I'm only a phone call/message away. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival. Please let us know if something is missing or needed at check-in. We can't fix the issue if we do not know about it. =)

We use smart home technology to improve your experience. NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures volume levels throughout the property, and allows us to respond to noise nuisances without disrupting your stay. NoiseAware is privacy compliant and is required on this property.
If more than the number of booked occupants are detected by neighbors or outside cameras, the stay will be immediately terminated and no refund will be issued. No cameras inside.
• No smoking inside the house -$250 fine if detected.
• No more than the number of guests booked ON PREMISE at any time: $200 fine per person detected
• We are not accepting reservations from local residents at this time, we reserve the right to immediately cancel any reservations from local resident
• Please remove shoes
• Quiet hours from 10pm to 8am (50 decibels).
• Primary renter must have valid govt ID, phone number and address on file.
• If there is anyone 21 years or younger in group, the primary renter must be 25+ years old or older.
• We are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables during your stay. We cannot be responsible for any items left behind. There will be a minimum $100 handling fee for returning requested items to you. Shipping and packaging will be charged at cost. Items will be kept for 5-days. After which time they will be donated at management discretion.
• Unfortunately, we do not allow late checkout to respect our cleaner's schedules. A fine of 50% of the upcoming night's stay will be imposed for a late checkout between 30 minutes and 2 hours past checkout time. Any checkout beyond 2 hours late will be charged at 2x the upcoming night's stay.
• Kids of all ages are welcomed, but we do not supply any infant/toddler/child furniture. You will need to supply your own and please be responsible of all underage children.

Awesome house in a cool neighbourhood. We were in town for a wedding, but I wish I'd rented it for a few extra days !

We had a wonderful stay at this property. If you want sleek, modern, and quiet, this is not the place for you. But if you want charming, cozy, and comfortable, this is your spot. We stayed here for two nights with our young adult children and it was perfect. Enough room for everyone to have their own space, but great gathering spots indoors and out. Things you might want to know about this property:1. It is three floors, plus a basement, so if anyone in your group has trouble navigating stairs, this could pose a problem. There is no bathroom on the ground floor, but there are bathrooms in the basement and on the 2nd and 3rd floor, near the bedrooms. 2. The kitchen has pretty much everything you need to cook a basic meal, even a sharp knife! I hate to work with a dull knife and usually bring mine, but forgot this trip, so I really appreciated this. There are pots, pans, a cutting board, and some basic spices. And everything is in a place that makes sense. 3. The mattresses are comfortable and the bedding is clean and soft. We had just spent the previous two nights in a cheap hotel with sub-par beds, so this was a very welcome improvement. And the decor is just lovely. 4. We LOVED the back patio. We spent both nights gathered around the patio table, under the string lights, talking, laughing, and drinking our favorite beverages. It was just what we wanted. We just loved this property. I spent my time there in a constant state of delight.

Our family had all gathered in Petersburg to lay one of our family members to rest in the community they grew up in. None of us lived in Petersburg so we opted to find a place large enough to hold our entire family. The place is most suitable for adults and there are stairs to get to any of the bedrooms or bathrooms so be sure you can walk up and down stairs.

I have no complaints regarding the booking process, communication, check-in, and cleanliness of the home. My family was very satisfied with our stay, and ensuring their comfort is my top priority. While the stairs provided a bit of a workout, I suppose a little exercise is beneficial, even on vacation!
