Escape to the quaint coastal town of Mathews in this charming 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath vacation rental cottage. Just renovated, super fresh with upscale furnishings, we have created a “home away from home” for complete tranquility. Enjoy waterfront views from every room. Spend your mornings sipping coffee on the covered porch watching herons glide around the creek. Throw the crab pots in to catch your evening bounty of blue crabs. Bring your boat and tie it up at our pier or enjoy our canoe and kayaks exploring Morris & Stutts Creek, minutes from the Chesapeake Bay. Fire up the grill and enjoy meals on the outdoor dining table. The evening sunsets are not to be missed on the front porch. On chilly evenings, relax in the Adirondack chairs in front of a toasty fire. We have puzzles and board games for a friendly round of family fun.

The host was wonderful and welcoming! The accommodations were perfect for a girls weekend, spending time socializing, shopping, and enjoying the cozy cottage!! The cottage is very cozy and was decorated for the holidays to make it even more special!

One of our favorite VRBOs to stay at! Love the peaceful mornings drinking coffee and looking at the water on the back porch; days tooting around Mathews and Gwynn's Island; evenings after dinner (cooked in the best-outfitted kitchen) sitting around the firepit. The cottage has no right to be as comfortable and homey as it is when it is seriously beautiful, but it manages to be all of the above!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We have stayed at many rental homes over the years for vacation but my husband and I both agreed this was by far the nicest. The home was beautifully decorated, very clean, and the attention to detail to make their guests comfortable and feel welcome was beyond our expectations as well as our family that joined us on this vacation. Highly recommend staying here!
