Castle Waikīkī Shore #PH07: This deluxe ocean view unit spans 720 square-feet of sleek modern chic décor featuring handsome hardwood-like flooring. Sliding glass doors allow for the expansive ocean and shoreline views. There is plenty of natural sunlight while air-conditioning and a ceiling fan help keep the condo cool.
The open living room provides plenty of space to lounge in style, with an L-shaped sofa and extra chairs available for your convenience around a table in-front of the flat-screen television.
For outdoor drinks and dining, the expansive private lanai has a table and four chairs. Greet the day with morning coffee or wind down with sunset beverages.
Adjacent to the living space is a chef’s kitchen where you’ll have all the tools and necessities to prepare a gourmet meal. Stately tan cabinets, ornate graystone tiling, and posh lighting adorn this impressive culinary playground. There is plenty of counter space to engage your sous chef and to prepare your meal on name-brand stainless-steel appliances including a gas stove/oven, oversized refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, and microwave. The kitchen peninsula extends and has four chairs for casual dining.
The sleeping space has a king bed fitted with supreme bedding and pillows for maximum rejuvenation after a busy day of shopping and surf lessons. There are two nightstands for guests and plenty of space in the closet to unpack. If guests want more privacy, they can slide the partition to divide the sleeping space from the living space. The bathroom features a spa-like aesthetic with soothing neutral tones, a vanity, large mirror, walk-in shower, and optimal lighting. Complimentary artisanal toiletries and towels are provided to all our guests.
Additional conveniences include complimentary Wi-Fi, a hair dryer, an ironing board with iron, an in-room safe, and hangers for your outfits. This unit has a dedicated roll-away bed for additional guests. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit for guests to easily clean their clothing.

My review is mixed, so the score of 3.Positives: location, view, outside space, condition of unit and relatively recent updatesImprovement needed:- VRBO listing is inaccurate: parking is NOT guaranteed with this unit. We had to park at a lot for more than twice the cost for 3 days until a garage spot became available, for which there is an additional charge, not included in the unit cost. We did not know this until we called on the day of arrival. This was a big problem for us and we might have stayed elsewhere or another unit with guaranteed parking, if this had been clearly advertised.- Elevators can take time: there are 2 elevators that are relatively small. There are times that waits can be longer. Keep this is in mind when planning departures for timed events or reservations.- The front desk staff are only available from 9am to 9pm.- The floor on our unit was dirty- unclear how it had been cleaned before our arrival. We asked the staff to clean it, which helped.- The unit does not have a dining table inside, just in case that’s needed for your stay. There is a counter/extension with somewhat uncomfortable bar stools that is meant for this. This did not work well for us. There is a table outside but when it’s hot, it may not be feasible to eat outside.- We did not receive any pre-arrival instructions, so we had to call on the day of our arrival, and there was some difficulty in getting through to a local property staff member.Good luck!
