Abbotsford Short Stay Luxury Style & Location

Good location, size of apartment and items in apartment.

The mattress in the main room (one with ensuite) should be replaced as you can feel the coils and it was very low. Did not sleep well for 5 nights in a row. Also, I didnt like that the details of where to collect the keys and how to access the car park only arrived via email 4 hours before checkin. I was on the road driving (some 2 hours from the location) and it required me to make a phone call to the agent and still I was not given information, so I had to pull over on the freeway and take out my laptop to find the email with the information.

there was no breakfast but there was a cafe on the premises which was very good

When we arrived there were crumbs on the table, but we just wiped them off, so no problem. A little bit difficult to collect the key, but we sorted it out with a phone call

The location of the flat is very good, close to a tram line that goes towards the city centre. Very spacious flat with all the equipment needed for a long stay.

Location was very convenient being near the hospital that we had to take our son/grandson to and to be able to visit other sites of Melbourne. Being a dog-friendly accommodation was extremely convenient. Supplies of condiments and necessary utilities were substantial.

The air conditioning was not effective as we could only adjust temperature to 24 degrees when it needed to be much cooler -hot inside the unit. {& it made quite a loud rattling noise.} The beds were not very comfortable & linen and the unit although tidy, could have been of a higher standard. Several marks/stains on carpet {with rug rolled up & left outside on balcony: no cushions on iron outdoor setting. Switch on lamp in lounge had a broken cover as was the soap holder in the ensuite broken. No instructions for how to operate the TV. Although clean, the towels smelt off and no washing up cloth to do dishes, Carpark signage was inadequate to really determine areas.
