The Cowshed

Très grand et confortable , la place de parking sécurisé.

Dommage que ce soit bruyant et mal insonorisé ( circulation automobile et bruit de la pluie sur le toit )

As described, nestled in a nice village close to Bath and Bristol, clean and cosy. Host is lovely! Would not hesitate to stay again.

A little terrace would be nice, especially when the weather is good. Just 2 chairs to sit in the sun

The Cowshed Annexe was a beautiful, rustic looking accommodation, situated next to the owner’s main house, however we did not feel as though we were part of their living space at any time, we felt we had space and privacy during our stay. The annexe was simply but effectively decorated, with a lovely dining/living room area and a smaller, farmhouse kitchen that provided all we needed. The bathroom was spacious with a powerful shower. Tv’s in both living room and bedroom are a great idea. The annexe is suited to couples as the bathroom sits between the bedroom and kitchen with a door going into each.

It is hard to fault the Cowshed, although we would recommend investing in a new mattress or a mattress topper, as we did sleep on the sofa for the second night of our stay, due to the bed being uncomfy and rather hard, however the bedding itself e.g duvet, pillows were lovely and soft
