Rochas Valley Homestay

The care taken arrived timely to open and show us the place and hand over the keys to us. The place is quite big with three bed rooms. Kitchen is fully equipped and there is large open space outside to site and relax. The near by town is walkable and you can purchase everything there and cook in your kitchen.

There was nothing to dislike - all good - no issues at all. The road is a little small and bumpy but that was expected in rainy season.

The property being surrounded by trees made it feel calm and refreshing. The outdoor space was great for relaxing, and having a dedicated parking space was a big plus.

Overall property was amazing. The owner and the care taker supported us very well.

The house is spacious with three bedrooms and a peaceful outdoor area surrounded by greenery. It’s a good location close to the main road, and there are a few restaurants and general stores nearby. The serene environment and proximity to coffee estates make it ideal for a quiet getaway.

There was no housekeeping during our two-day stay, so the rooms weren’t cleaned, and essentials like bed sheets and towels weren’t replaced. The water pressure in the taps was very low, making it difficult to get hot water. Communication about food options and nearby restaurants was lacking, and we only realized after arriving that food delivery apps like Zomato and Swiggy don’t deliver here. The outdoor area, though charming, wasn’t well-maintained, and we found snails inside the house on two occasions. While the caretaker was polite and available, he didn’t make us feel supported during the stay.
