The location is incredible because it’s right in Les Baux, which comes with the added benefits of being able to easily access in the early morning and evenings, plus special parking vs the lines of cars the snake their way down the hill
Good AC, which is unusual for France, and comfortable bedrooms
Extremely well equipped house overall

At the top of a medieval village, access is tricky. You can use your car before 0700 after 1900. Even with clear instructions, the property was well hidden from a passing gaze. It is very cool with good facilities. There are no shops in the village, so bring with you what you will require. There are a number of restaurants at Les Baux. We had booked for our anniversary at L’ousteau de baumaniere, 3 star Michelin which was a 10 minute walk!
After a heavy rain overnight, the building leaked and we woke with water in the apartment. We immediately contacted the owner, who had cleaners there by 0800! We had to leave and find alternative accommodation nearby. Valerie was very helpful and reimbursed us for those nights. I can recommend the Black Prince
Need to be reasonably dexterous. Climbing up old stone stairs, so need to be mobile

It was beautifully furnished with personal family mementos, and with the flair to be expected of an interior designer, with its African and tree theme. The kitchen was particularly intriguingly decorated, with antiques and oil paintings. The owner’s personality certainly shone through. Not the usual bland offerings. It was one of the best-equipped properties we have ever stayed in and very comfortable. Of course, the location was spectacular with views of the Chateau. The owner was very responsive, friendly and helpful.
We cannot fault it.

The place is truly lovely and has everything you need for a comfortable stay
I’d definitely recommend it more for families with kids than for two couples, like we were. One bedroom is bright, spacious, and beautiful, with that big terrace from the photos, while the second one is quite small – barely enough room to open a suitcase – with twin beds and small windows, so the bedroom standards are very different. Other than that, everything was top!

This property has an old world charm and the decor is beautiful. Loved having a washer and dryer midway through our trip.
I think this is the only accommodation in town. The streets are very narrow and unless you have a very compact car, you will need to haul your belongings quite a ways from the parking spot to the rental. It took us 2 trips and felt odd since there was no one else with luggage that we saw during our 2 day stay.

This property was absolutely charming. Extremely well-appointed, beautifully decorated, spacious, with sweet little touches you'd find in a hotel, not necessarily someone's rented property (robes, toiletries, a little welcome gift). The hostess was so gracious in helping us find and make restaurant reservations, and she has fabulously detailed instructions about how to get to the property and how to make the most out of the amenities in and around the property. She is so well organized and clearly wants her guests to feel welcome. Everything was clean, and the bathrooms were nice sizes. The dedicated parking spot was appreciated (note that you do need to carry your luggage some distance to the property, but there is really no way around that), and being in Les Baux-de-Provence at night was a treat, even though there are very few places in town that are open then (many wonderful restaurant options under 10 minutes away). The only words of caution: not good for anyone with mobility issues due to the stairs to reach the front door and some tricky to spot stairs within the apartment. But we highly recommend this property and this host. Excellent location as a base in Provence. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
Really have no complaints

The apartment was beautifully designed and furnished with every detail in place. The balcony is just gorgeous - the perfect spot for breakfast and a rose at the end of the day…
