Cabin on Gold Mine Hill

Great location and just a restful, quiet place

This spot was great and I'd stay here again; the pictures are accurate and I love all the wolf and bear decor. There's a swing and plenty of chairs outside to look at the view. While I brought a lot of my own things, everything was provided; I just needed to bring myself and food. There's plenty of utensils and kitchen appliances, the bathroom is completely stocked. The listing says no wifi, but there is; there aren't that many channels on the tv, but you can log in to your netflix. Places for food, gas and hiking are close by. There's also a resident groundhog, he's completely harmless when he comes out; just leave him be and he'll go back in his burrow. Wish I could've stayed here longer.

Make sure the door is completely closed, otherwise the door code doesn't work. The path to the cabin is on a slight incline with a gravel road; my 2wd made it up there, with and without low gear so it is manageable.

Close to Hendersonville and shopping center. The cottage is very Cozy.

Everything about this cabin and location is amazing. It made our trip perfect. The view is the absolute best. Vineyards as a neighbor and Blue Ridge Mountains in the backdrop made sitting outside at sunset very romantic. Plus a fire pit and privacy. I’m pretty sure I’ve never paid such a good price for such a wonderful stay. I’ve already recommended this property. Thank you.

Needed better vacuuming on all floors. Otherwise clean and nice.
