Never been offered such a disgustingly dirty house to stay in, do not book.

Property in good location

Had to be moved from the property as it was disgustingly dirty, mattresses had bodily fluids all over them, bedding with hairs on. Glasses stuck to shelves as so much dirt, old oil in oven trays, curtains hanging off, not hoovered, bags of laundry dumped on stairs, main door lock doesn’t work properly and locks you in ,parking a problem and on a very steep hill, not a full house as pictures led you to believe. We had to rebook somewhere else as it should not be let out in current condition. Still no apologies from owners, just a shocking experience

Avoid like the plague (which may well be growing in the bathroom).

Nice view over the water.

Left three days early due to no hot water, a mouldy shower, leaking wonky taps, filthy crockery, and a garden so poorly maintained it caused a slip. The place looked like it hadn’t seen basic upkeep (not even a single dust around) in years. Tried contacting the host via phone, WhatsApp, and Booking.com—three days in a row. Heard nothing. Not so much as a “sorry” afterwards either. Unwilling to help. All in all, a deeply unpleasant experience. But, if you fancy roughing it for your summer holiday, go right ahead and book here.

The location was good and the views lovely

The house is very spacious but run down. We nearly walked back out when we seen the sofa as it was filthy we used throws from the bedrooms to cover it or we wouldn't have been sitting on it. Mattress in one of the rooms is completely dipped and concaved at one side! Can barely read the welcome pack from stains all over it. Remotes sticky. Bathroom is mouldy and rusty.

Very large flat excellent views from the lounge and very clean.

The kitchen especially oven/pans etc need replacing.BUT there should definitely be a warning about the drive exceptionally steep to walk or drive up.Wrong key code given by booking.com

As always, Sykes Cottages deliver

Main bedroom had a very unpleasant smell. Guess it was the bedding and feathers that stank. Be very careful with the drive. Steep and narrow drive, difficult to turn the car.

De Locatie is prachtig uitzicht op het loch, met goede bedden en prima zit meubels in prachtig ruime kamers

de oprit naar de parking is niet geschikt voor wat minder ervaren automobilist, bij nat weer is de trap naar het boven appartement trikkie van wege afgevallen blad .
