Looked just like the pictures. Wonderful location so close to many restaurants. Could walk to lots of places. Very safe and secure - we forgot to lock the door one day and went out all day and everything was safe. The man at the front desk was initially confused due to our language barrier, but we eventually managed to convey that we had a reservation and he pointed us in the right direction to get to the lift to our floor. We had arrived early and they allowed us to leave the bags in the room whilst the cleaner was finishing the clean, which was great. Comfortable beds and lovely Juliet balconies to let the breeze in at night. When you arrive, there is a big locked gate. You can ring the buzzer to be let in, or use the gate code given to you by the property manager before arrival.

The bath under the shower can be very slippery, just take care when getting out.

Location was incredible. Next to Santa Lucia Hill, right within Barrio Lastarria. Full of great cafes, restaurants, and a pedestrian plaza art market during the day, turning a little more edgy during dusk and the night. Most of the shops and restaurants had staff who can speak English. Large supermarkets a couple of blocks away, as was the subway. The apartment was suitable in size for two people with large travel bags not getting in the way. 24hr security at the front desk. Buzz codes for both street and room entry. There seems to be a few booking.com apartments in this building, not sure if they are the same owner or not, but we stayed in 407. Lifts were quick. Obviously furnished by Ikea.

The bed is awful. A small double size spring mattress. Old and drooping on one side. My partner felt he was rolling out all the time. We took turns sleeping on the lounge. We were in Santiago in late Spring, so not yet too hot. This apartment has only a single floor fan, no air conditioning, which just made it bearable. In the heat of full summer, it would not be enough. The kitchen set up was fine, but only one cereal bowl to share to get the day started. The plastic shower curtain is hung too far above the stand-up bathtub style shower, not at the edge. I seemed to be wrapped in plastic each time I took a shower. The stated washing machine is not in the apartment, but apparently a shared facility for the entire 8 level building in the basement. We looked but couldn't find it. Towels were old and grey.
