Racine was such a wonderful host! The communication with her was excellent and she was so hospitable. We needed to check in earlier than the normal check in time to get to an event nearby in time and she was very accommodating. We had a fresh pitcher of water in our room and a complimentary bottle of wine. The bed was so comfortable and the tub in our bathroom was roomy and relaxing. The manor was immaculate - it was very clean and well kept. The grounds were also gorgeous. Definitely choose to get the breakfast! We had chocolate babka french toast with bananas and whipped cream and it was literally the best breakfast we have had in a long time.
The only downside during our stay was that there was an awesome shower in our bathroom with different types of shower heads, but the water pressure was poor, and we couldn’t seem to get it more than lukewarm when we tried to use it in the morning.

Everything was hreat, Racine is a jewel, made me feel at home. Will definitely recommend to others, and return visit is warrented, so serene and beautiful.

It’s amazing! Gorgeous, historic, and Racine has done a wonderful job of running it. She’s delightful, the breakfasts are to-die-for good (chocolate babka French toast!). Very convenient to Lynchburg and not that far from Charlottesville, a beautiful property with horse chestnuts, a fountain, deer…highly recommend!
