RF Central location w fenced backyard FIRE-PIT

This house is so centrally located, it did not take us a long time to get anywhere we were going around Richmond. It is very tastefully appointed and comfortable. We love the fenced backyard that allowed our fur babies to run around and play safely. The master bedroom mattress is very firm. My hubs loved it though it caused my back to hurt too badly to sleep in it with him. However, the full bed in the guest room across from the main bath was perfect for me. The main bath is quite small, and because my hubs and I are like giant Vikings, we had some trouble squeezing in and out, but the shower is awesome, and we had everything we needed by way of towels and rags. Erik and Mei are excellent hosts and were very prompt, kind, and helpful when we needed them. We highly recommend this venue to stay while visiting Richmond. Tips for your stay: Bring extra kitchen towels. There's only one. The fence doesn't lock. We used zipped ties at night to ensure no one could just walk in. You've got to try Fat Dragon Chinese because it's absolutely the best Chinese food you'll ever eat. When we arrived late the first night, we ordered online and went to pick it up. Parking is tricky, but my hubs was in and out in less than 3 minutes. Carytown is worth walking up and down if you want to go shopping or find a cool place to hang out. We ate at Rise and found the fare tasty though expensive for breakfast ($30 for two). Doing the Historic Trolley Tour downtown is worth exploring. It's a 2-hour tour and was very fun and informative. Hopefully you will get the dynamic duo we had, Melissa the tour guide and KP the driver. Excellent experience. If you like Irish fare, do not go to Siné but try Penny Lane instead. Siné is waaaay overpriced and not very good. Southern TapHouse is good for snacks and dinner. We went on the River Canal tour on a Friday night, well worth it, and TapHouse is right across the exit. And you get 10% food with your canal tickets.

Everything was perfect for us. The house sleeps 7 people, which would probably be a problem with how small the main bath is.

Plenty of comfortable beds. Short trip to lewis ginter gardens and the science center.

It felt like home because the property owner puts forth the time & effort to ensure guests have all basic essentials in order to be comfortable. Also, the whole setup in the backyard is an amazing bonus.
