5 mins walk to Hastings Street

A comfortable and clean apartment with nice polished concrete floors and beautifully made luxury beds. Plenty of towels. The shower was lovely. Really perfect with spacious bathroom and lounge area, nice washing machine and dryer. Huge telly and comfy leather couch. Everything was extremely clean. Milk left in the fridge for us was appreciated. It is a lot nicer once you are inside. It's five minutes walk to Hastings Street if you cut through the Sofitel. Great value and would highly recommend.

Slight embarrassment over the key breaking in the front door lock on arrival. The caretaker was annoyed, contradicting my thoughts that the key may have corroded or was flimsy, but to her credit, promptly arranged a replacement and advised us how to get into the apartment via back door so we weren't left waiting. Other than that, a very smoothly handled and professional interaction.

The location was good, central to everything, off street parking and easy access to unit from carport

There are 2 bedrooms, so potentially 4 people could stay. However, there were only 3 wine glasses available, no Champagne flutes, and tiny water glasses. There were only 2 of us, so not a huge thing, but we drank our bubbles out of a wine glass :( All of the pull cords on all blinds in the unit were just hanging unsecured which is a health and safety issue, and need to be affixed to the wall for compliance for short term letting. The bathroom mirror above the vanity is at belly button height, how does anyone lean over the sink to shave their face, you can't bend down far enough to see into the mirror?!
