Host & Stay - 1 The Mount

The location was amazing just cut down Pier Lane straight to the centre its 5 mins. The accommodation was stunning and parking was a real bonus.

The inspection lady on arrival told us to move our car from the parking space in an extremely rude manner.- we arrived at 3pm and check in was 4pm. We'd asked the cleaning staff who were lovely and they said it was ok to park there. The lady said she was carrying out inspections. She was abrupt and rude and it was totally unnecessary. She could of explained that she needed the parking space herself in a nice way. The only other issues were so many scuffs and marks on walls it ruined how lovely the accommodation was.

It was very close to the wedding venue

The basement bedroom smelt of damp and the bedding was also damp. There were black mould spots in the shower. I opened the window for ventilation.

The complete property was finished to a high standard and subsequently so easy to relax in.

As with any accommodation there were small things. In the bedroom on the ground floor ( with the on-suite) there is no mirror in the bathroom. A hook on the bathroom door would have been useful.

The house was lovely everything we needed,great location, own parking space was great, would definitely return.

The windowsills in most of the rooms were dirty unfortunately and quite alot of cobwebs and balloon up in the beams.
