Cabana Alaska Rânca Transalpina

We had such a great stay here. Alex is an incredibly friendly and welcoming host and was always very easy and pleasant to communicate with. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and even prepared a beautiful fireplace for us, which made the evening feel really special. The hot tub was incredible, especially with the surroundings and the views. The cabin itself was spotlessly clean, very tidy and clearly well looked after. And the views are honestly breathtaking. You can really tell that Alex cares about his guests and wants them to have a great experience. We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended.

We came at night, during a vicious storm, and the owner told us we're the only ones there tonight and shouldn't mind if electricity goes off - if that's not a perfect Transylvanian experience then I don't know what is. A pretty house, in the mountains right outside Transalpina - a perfect place to stay right after or before getting there. The owner was very helpful and nice.

Electricity was on and off during a night storm, some parts seem as if they might start breaking soon, as if they were made by some less-than-reliable crew or made of bad materials. All the more reason to visit the place soon, before it breaks down ;) Kind of expensive, though, and while the place itself is quite nice, the room was rather small.
