Gili Land

Spacious room with a nice terrace in front, which was great for relaxing. The location was excellent, close to both the beach and the center. The breakfast was also very good.

The bathroom could have been cleaner. The AC also had a slightly strange smell and was quite difficult to control to get the temperature right.

Good central location. Walkable from the port with luggage. Good size rooms, air con works well. I enjoyed the breakfast - I’ve seen reviews complaining, but I just asked them for what I specifically wanted and they were happy to accommodate. Staff were friendly. Greeted by name as I came and went past reception. Very close to H2O yoga and Flowers and Fire - Yoga Garden, 15 minute walk to their seaside yoga. I enjoyed classes at both.

A local cat had made its home on the Lounge chairs on my deck. This made the cushions dirty and a lingering cat smell. Cat lovers may have enjoyed this, but as I’m allergic it was annoying.

- It’s a basic backpacker bungalow - it is not four star - The lane to walk down has no lighting and is a little scary at night on your own - The bed was hard - The bathroom was a bit dirty
