Newly remodeled, cozy 1950 sq. ft . 10 minutes from RDU Airport, 15 minutes to downtown Raleigh, downtown Durham only 20 minutes away. Centrally located on Glenwood Ave between I-440 and I-540. Crabtree Valley Mall, Angus Barn, PNC Arena, NC Museum of Art, NC Heart and Vascular Hospital at UNC/Rex Healthcare, Umstead State Park, great restaurants, NC State and other local universities are all nearby! Additional parking on street directly behind the house. GFiber is avaliable for guests!
The space
Comfortable open floor plan - living room with 50" flat screen television, fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, stainless appliances and breakfast bar, also dining room and powder room on main level. Off of the dining room enjoy relaxing on the deck that is backed to an all natural area.
Master suite 1 with new cool gel memory king mattress, chaise lounge chair, en suite bathroom with his/her sinks and garden tub, 50" flat screen TV and large walk in closet on 3rd floor.
Master suite 2 with new cool gel memory queen mattress, also a twin bed and en suite bath, flat screen television and large walk in closet on 3rd floor.
Bedroom 3 on first floor has a new cool gel memory queen mattress and a desk/office space on first floor with half bath.
Two twin roll away beds are also available.
Washer and dryer are accessible for your use on the 3rd floor.
Other things to note
Enjoy great local restaurants in our "Glenwood South" district, Lynnwood Grill, Angus Barn and Waraji (best sushi in Raleigh) are minutes away, North Hills, Brier Creek and other shopping also minutes away. Additionally, you can be at the beach or mountains in approximately 2 hours. The home is perfect for business, travelers/retreats, and small gatherings up to 8 people. Please make yourselves comfortable and enjoy your stay; I do ask that you respect and care for my home. It is clean and newly furnished and I would like to keep it in great condition.

Stayed with friends at Tonya's place. The location was perfect for our visit, close to stores, food and shopping.
Host was gracious, always responsive. Best part of this BNB is it has a well stocked kitchen if you want to cook.

The overall quality of the house was pretty poor. Much of it is falling apart and sort of cobbled together. For instance, the dishwasher falls out of place when opened, the towel racks are pulled out of the wall on the bathroom, the outlets don’t all work, the keurig is non-functional, the deck rug is more of a sponge (it stayed soaked for a good day after it rained). There is no shower in the bottom bedroom so anyone staying there has to shower in one of the upstairs bedrooms.Overall it shows up nice in the photos and, like most rentals, it is nice on the surface but rather sub-par underneath. It was adequate for our needs.
