The bedrooms were lovely, kitchen was exceptional. The BBQ grill was not in great shape but it was in winter so probably not expected to be used. We managed to cook steaks using the range and they were perfect. We seemed to have little trouble with the hot water in the kitchen coming out in a strong stream, but I am just saying this so the host can check it out. We will definitely be booking it again in the future. It was perfect for our needs and a superior house.

We really appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was--plenty of dishes and silverware and countless, good quality, stainless steel pans for cooking. Our communication with the owner was always promptly responded to--this was very much appreciated. When we arrived, things looked like the listing but very soon we questioned how well the property was being cleaned. We communicated to the owner that there was a dirty sock left under a bench in one of the bedrooms (in plain sight) and we were finding small roaches in the kitchen. She immediately scheduled Orkin to come the next day; however, made no comment about the sock or cleanliness. Orkin came while we were out but we continued to deal with bugs in the kitchen for the duration of our stay. We know bugs happen and appreciate not only the prompt response but the scheduling of Orkin as well. And I get that things like a sock can get missed in the cleaning. But I think the listing led us to believe that the expectation and standard of cleanliness was higher than it was in reality.
