About this apartment rental
Relax in this spacious, 80-square-meter Alpine-style attic apartment located in a charming wooden house. The living room opens onto the west-facing balcony, which enjoys evening sun and offers views of the Herzogstand and Heimgarten mountains. Both bedrooms lead out to the east-facing balcony, which is bathed in morning and midday sun.
The beautiful Kochelsee, with its peaceful swimming area, is just a 10-minute walk away. Hikes into the surrounding mountains can begin right from your doorstep.
The accommodation
The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a Bavarian wooden house with 6 units. Down the hallway on the left are the two bedrooms, each furnished with a double bed (1.80 m and 1.40 m wide, respectively). Wardrobes, dressers, and a desk are provided. Both bedrooms open onto the southeast-facing balcony, which is furnished with garden sofas and is perfect for enjoying breakfast in the sun.
The hallway also leads to the bathroom, which is equipped with a shower, bathtub, and two sinks, as well as to the fully equipped kitchen. Here you can prepare all kinds of delicious meals.
On the right side of the apartment is the spacious living room with a sleeper sofa. Adjacent to the living room is the apartment’s highlight: the west-facing balcony with a dining area and a view of the Herzogstand and the Heimgarten. The evening sun stays here until the very end of the day.
In the basement, you can use the apartment’s own washing machine and dryer.
Guest access
The entire apartment is rented out for personal use.
Additional important information
The midday quiet hours (12–3 p.m.) and evening quiet hours (starting at 10 p.m.) must be strictly observed.
Thanks to the two large bedrooms with double beds, the apartment is ideal for four guests. An additional guest can sleep on the sofa bed in the living room, though the bedrooms offer greater comfort.
In the town of Kochel am See, a visitor’s tax of €2.97 per person per night applies for adults. For teenagers (ages 7–16), the visitor’s tax is €2.47 per person per night. This amount must be paid before check-in via PayPal or bank transfer. Additionally, I must register all guests in advance with their names and ages. In return, each guest receives a guest card that allows them to ride the bus for free and receive discounts at certain establishments.
