Eagles Crest is part of Rumbling Bald Resort, a 4 bedroom 3.5 bath double-level home that sleeps 10 guests. The main level features a large, well-appointed and fully equipped kitchen with KEURIG and DRIP COFFEE POT and quartz counters, ideal for preparing meals for a big family. The living room is tastefully decorated with a comfy couch, featuring a stone gas-burning fireplace and a large dining table. A large picture-perfect window with an expansive mountain and lake views. Enjoy the screened in porch for a family barbecue or relax on the open side of the deck. Carve out some time to appreciate the soaring hawks and amazing sunsets over the mountains. Every day, every hour uncovers a new experience of nature's beauty. On the main floor you have the master bedroom that shares the same views as the living room. Down the stairs we go into the second family room, fully equipped with a pool table and a bar complete with a mini fridge and microwave. Guest bedroom #2 with queen bed and tv is located next to the full-size hallway bath. The guest bedroom #3 with king size bed is located across the hall from the guest bedroom #4 which is a second master bedroom and desk.

The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet has been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. No personal watercraft will be allowed on the lake during this time. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season. For more information about the annual lake drawdown, please contact the Town of Lake Lure.

A preface this by saying this house is beautiful, the view is to die for, the kitchen is great. The whole space is nice, there’s a pool table, awesome hot tub, and most importantly the beds were so comfortable. It’s a quick ride to the amenities. Highly recommend the Lake Lure tour!
The negatives: the fan upstairs didn’t work, the air conditioning downstairs would not cool past 74, the outlets in the big bathroom downstairs kept going out anytime anyone use the bathtub. Baseboards were dirty, there were dead bugs in the light fixtures.
I would recommend staying here, but I would ask the management company if these things have been fixed first. And I do want to add that they were very prompt in replying to our messages and very friendly. Even though we called them for several things, they were polite, friendly, and professional.

We had a good time staying at Eagle Crest with our family. The property managers were very helpful when the air conditioning wasn’t working downstairs and they sent an air conditioning specialist out to fix it the next morning. The home was very spacious for our family of 9 and we enjoyed the amenities at Rumbling Bald Resort. The upper deck does need attention - it has some rotten boards.

This was one of the nicest VRBO rental homes my wife and I have ever stayed in. Super clean, has everything you need, great location and the views of Lake Lure and the mountains are spectacular. Very serene and private. Coffee on the top deck in the morning was very relaxing. Communication from the company that manages the property was very professional. Highly recommend this house for families, couples and we will definitely look to rent this home again.
