We rented A Shore Thing for two nights to celebrate my son's 21st birthday, and it was perfect! There was plenty of room for the four of us and our dogs. We spent a lot of time on the deck and the pier, enjoying the water views and the bird life (we saw ospreys, bald eagles, great blue herons, red-winged blackbirds, and more). My husband and son spent an afternoon kayaking and said it was amazing. But we also enjoyed being inside—playing pool, watching movies in the deluxe entertainment setup in the basement (complete with reclining loungers), reading and chatting in front of the fireplaces, and admiring the water views from almost every window. The location is great—an easy drive from DC. There's a grocery store a 5-minute drive away; we made trips to Stevensville and to Annapolis, both easy drives. Highly recommended—we can't wait to go back!

A Shore Thing was the perfect property for our long weekend trip! The only suggestion I can make to the owners is to replace the upstairs guest bedroom mattress- it’s sunken in the middle and was a bit uncomfortable for a couple sleeping in that room.

Easy place to unwind, neighbors we a little closer than I had imagined from the listing but it was absolutely awesome location. Great eating options close by and great kitchen set up with plenty of room.
