I liked everything about Komodo Gardens! Best to hire scooters to go and explore the island.

Peaceful green oasis

Very peaceful and beautiful. Only two minute walk to the beach. Lovely pool open all hours.

Beautiful place to stay, could have spent longer here

We loved how small the property was. Only 8 bungalows so almost felt like your own private villa. We loved the location. Short walk to sandy beach and the beach club. Lots of food options within walking distance and can walk to Mushroom Bay. You will need transport or scooter to the other side of the island to the main bay/beach - but we were happy to just stay on our side of the island and get to everything within walking distance. The Bungalows were well appointed with insect spray, tea/coffee, fridge and nicely decorated. Front balcony with day bed was lovely to sit and read. Breakfast was delicious.

A Slice of Paradise

If you are looking for a small, peaceful location, then this place is ideal. If you are looking for bars, music, nightlife then perhaps choose a different location. There are 8 beautifully presented lumbungs surrounding the pool. The breakfast is lovely, and Sandy Bay Beach Club and Sunset Bar are a short walk away, offering stunning ocean views. We absolutely loved our stay here, only wished we had booked for longer.

Comfy bungalows surrounding a lovely pool, recommend!

The bungalows are very nice. It is a very cozy ambiance the way they surround the pool. The bathroom is outdoors and a few steps down. Shower was surprisingly good and the bathroom is very spacious. We heard the sounds of geckos and they were also in the bathroom. Not a problem for us as I really like them, but good to know. The swimming pool is great after a day of activities. From the hotel you can walk to Sandy Bay and a few restaurants, spas and yoga. By scooter it is about 10 minutes from the central beaches of Jungut Batu. The staff of the hotel is so kind. They helped us organize scooters, our boat tickets from Mushroom Bay, laundry, etc. It is very calm in the hotel. They provide breakfast (simple but loved the pancakes) but no lunch or dinner. We really enjoyed our stay although I think our 20-year old boys would have preferred to be in the more central and busier area, close to surfing.

The location is close to the Dream Beach, which is a good one, nice pool, lovely, well kept garden.

It is not clean, sorry. Top of the bed full of dead bugs, bathroom has no roof at all, overall cleanness is subpar.

Really comfortable and pleasant stay!

Beautifully green and quiet environment, you can only hear the ocean and the birds here but down the road there are places to eat and drink. Very friendly staff, arranged a scooter and harbour transfer for us in no time. Rooms are clean and the hotel is one street away from Sandy Bay Beach Club and close to Devil’s Tear.

Breakfast options were limited but good, water pressure and temperature in the shower were a bit of an issue but other than that we really enjoyed staying here.

Bad

The stuff and the place are in general nice. But you can not have a holes in the walls where RATS can come inside the room. We stayed in two different lodges and we have a same problem: a BIG RAT was in our room in the night and we saw it. It is not a cool feeling if you hear the rat walking in the room. Simply unacceptable!!!! You can not do that to guests. We did not sleep two nights because of that. I did not intent to do a bad review but i saw a booking review from 2022 where this problem was already reviewed. They simply could solve this problem with closing the holes on the walls but they did not. We did it with blankets and towels. I would not recommend to stay here!!!

Beautiful cabins, lovely kind staff and excellent location. We could literally walk to all the best spots such as Dream Beach, Devil's Tears. A great beach club nearby too so everything you need nearby!

Lovely people and great place to stay.

Great room. overlooking a central pool but there are plenty of plants giving you privacy too. The staff were really helpful and friendly, they organised bike hire, taxi's and boat trips for me without any fuss.

To be honest for the price there was not really anything. The only thing I would say is that there are no hairdryers in the room.
