Habitat Eco Farm

I stayed at the farm with my friend and was immediately impressed with the experience when the lovely host Alessandra picked myself and my friend up from the dock. We were greeted like a member of the family and taken to the farm. We were so amazed by the beauty of this place, and given a tour making us feel comfortable straight away. We loved the views so much, we didn’t want to go anywhere, but instead just enjoy being present and taking in the moment. The care for their project shows and every detail is considered for guest comfort, their passion for their project shows throughout the farm built by scratch on land they purchased. Our rent was comfortable with a huge bed and breathtaking view. The tent and all of the other facilities were always spotless. They think of everything offering insect repellent spray, suncream and natural soap to use in the outdoor showers. We were allowed to explore the farm freely, playing with their dog Tiago (so cute), meeting the chickens and offered to pick vegetables to cook with, grown with love on the farm. Alesandro made the best limoncello spritz, which we enjoyed while watching the sunset and amazing breakfast with produce from the farm and eggs from the chickens that were so fresh they were still warm. Being on the farm was so peaceful, giving a beautiful and authentic connection to nature. We particularly enjoyed lying in the hammocks, relaxing and reading with Vesuvius in the background. They’ve created an environment allowing you to connect with other travellers. Their lovely Workaway team were really friendly and always asked how our day was when we got back and the whole team would provide us with great recommendations for how to spend our day on the local beaches. We left the farm feeling like part of the family with bags full of honey from their bees and the feeling that we weren’t saying goodbye but see you later and can’t wait to return to this incredible place.

My brother and I stayed two nights! Super nice of Alessandra and Alex to show us their farm and introduce us to their beautiful baby and let us feed the donkeys. We were absolutely blown away by the view outside of our tent. And Diego the doggie is super playful with us, will definitely come back. Although shower can be super cold when it’s windy, excited to come back next time, Alessandra said the indoor bathrooms are being installed and should be up and running next time we come around. 10/10 recommend for a unique stay near sorrento.

We really enjoyed our stay at habitat. Alessandra and Alessandro (and Diega and Salvatore) are the best hosts ever, they really make the place what it is. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they are really friendly people. I hope we get to meet them again. The location of the farm gives stunning views across the bay of Naples to Vesuvius and it has a very calm, relaxed feeling. The breakfast that they provide is amazing, with all fresh produce from the farm and the restaurant that they have a partnership with is really good.

Although the location is stunning, it is high up on the side of a big hill meaning you need to either get a bus (which isn’t that frequent) or rely on the hosts to pick you up. Which they are always happy to do, but we didn’t like to impose too much. Also, the toilets are portaloos, which we hadn’t understood when we booked. I understand they are putting a toilet block in which will make the place even better than it already is.

Het was geweldig. Helemaal tot rust gekomen dankzij Allesandro en Allesandra. Ze doen alles voor je en houden overal rekening mee. Geweldige familie. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Grote aanrader voor iedereen!
