La Jose Beach Resort

The staff are nice.

We booked the family studio, very spacious, two air con units. Clean facilities. The staff even showed us to the nearest restaurant on his scooter. We followed in our car.

the resort is very close to the beach with very good water. There is a self-catering kitchen and a little way down the road a small "restaurant", if you can call it that. The pool is also very nice but unfortunately the shower only has cold water. Otherwise the rooms are very nice whether you have a standard room or a family room but the highlight are the little houses outside and the location on the beach. I think it is 100 times better in summer than during the rainy season in winter 🙃 unfortunately we only had one sunny day out of 9 days and otherwise a lot of rain which didn't bother my wife and me. And if you are there without a car and have a driving license you can borrow a scooter from the owner or ask your uncle who will take you wherever you want to go.

I'm actually someone who rarely has something to complain about, but a warm shower would be good and a boiler in every room because I bring a kettle from home. It would also be good if the resort had a small store and perhaps a larger selection of food and dishes. But as I said, there is a self-catering kitchen.
