Kapila Gardens Family Retreat w/ private pool

Location Is easy to get to and central to the city without being in the actual middle of the city. Excellent garden in the back yard that you can practically get lost in, the pictures don't do it justice. The pool was amazing in the hot weather and there were sunscreen and other supplies available to use but make sure to read the sign on the gate for pool rules as I don't remember them being listed elsewhere and we had to go back inside to get plastic cups for our drinks (no glass near the pool which is obvious after you think about it). The host was super responsive and helpful with plenty of advice and recommendations when we relayed our plans. I would definitely recommend reaching out to them before you head out for the day to ask for local recommendations! We loved the kaleidoscope shop in Jerome and might have missed it if they hadn't said to stop in. Highly recommend some local doughnuts and coffee to enjoy a sunrise on the back porch or at one of the various hidden gazebos!

Some of the appliances could have used a little love. The main stove had something burned in the bottom from a previous renter that the cleaning people missed and was unusable though there was a second oven that we were able to use instead. TVs were limited, wearing out, and outdated. There were only TV's in the 2 main living areas instead of having one for each bedroom. Which isn't unreasonable but unexpected in a modern rental. Either the main TV 's video card is going or the screen itself has been damaged and it has some large dead spots on it as a result. Both TV's are badly in need of an update/replacement as they were both 15years+ old the main one only 720p and the other I believe was 480i they could easily be upgraded and replaced. I saw a 40" 4k at Wallmart up the road for less than $200 and it isn't even a particularly good time to get tv's you could likely get one 2x the size if it was but even so that would literally be a 6x quality upgrade with 2x the screen without even trying for less than you probably take in from a night of rental. Though I will say the TV is not really the focus with all of the work that is put into the grounds it is just such a common and cheap amenity that it's lack was both surprising and disappointing.

We rented Kapila Gardens for our book club meeting and a little getaway. There were seven ladies and the place was wonderful, spacious and had several indoor and outdoor area where we could hang out, chat, relax, eat and simply enjoy slowing down.

I polled the group and everyone was quite pleased and no complaints. This says a lot since there were seven individual opinions coming in!

We loved the location as we had functions to attend at locations on both sides of Cottonwood. We loved the spaciousness in the house, the comfortable beds and nice centralized gathering place. Our family loved the pool and the gardens alike, just beautiful. The owner is responsive and communicative. Love the easy checking out process. We would love to make this our “Arizona” place.

Fantastisk sted for grupper. Vi var en gruppe med 9 kursister og to ledere og der var god plads til alle. En separat lejlighed til min kollega og mig selv, perfekt. Swimming pool var nu heller ikke en straf. Vi var ude at hike i Sedona næsten hver dag, med spirituelt formål og det gjorde ikke noget, at vi var helt på bølgelængde med værten Josh. Stort hus med tre værelser, separat lejlighed med to værelser, ombygget garage/den og 4 tiny houses. Det ku ikke have været bedre til vores formål. Vi regner med at booke stedet igen næste år... Med glæde.

Der var intet vi ikke ku lide. Ja, måske at der ikke var nok toiletpapir... Ellers kan je ikke finde på noget.
