Spacious and modern apartment

Pillows and blankets could be better quality

The location is excellent, it’s close to the Palace of Culture and Science, about a 20-minute walk from the Warszawa Centralna train station and Złote Tarasy shopping mall. There is a metro station and other public transport nearby, as well as several grocery stores and restaurants. Ten years ago, it must have been quite a fancy apartment, and it still looks great in photos. However, there are many outdated, broken, or non-functioning things that could easily be fixed, but they significantly affect the overall experience of the stay.

Cleaning was poor, there were shoe marks on the bathroom floor, dust everywhere, hair in the shower, and dirty plates and glasses. The mattress in the bedroom is very hard. The sofa in the living room is okay for sitting, but sleeping on it is nearly impossible, it’s sagging in places and also very firm. A simple mattress topper could fix these issues. The pillows are completely flat, so flat that you can hardly feel them. There is only one pillow per person, and not even any decorative cushions to help the situation. Towels: one medium-sized towel per person, plus one shared towel for the floor and one for hands/face for everyone - such a small detail, but so important. The shower floor is extremely slippery, and there isn’t even a basic shelf for toiletries - something so easy to fix with a quick trip to IKEA. And it would be great to repair the blinds on the bathroom window, as putting on a private show for the neighbours across the courtyard was definitely not in our plans.
