YCH-Montebello - Rooms

It’s in a great location for exploring Rome, not far from the train station. The manual for using the accommodation was very detailed, and I had no trouble following it. The room was very clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Although the kitchen is shared, I had no trouble using it. There’s a large supermarket near the accommodation, which made it perfect for buying groceries and preparing meals.

It was well located, the room was clean, confortable and modern, the equipments (frigobar, hairdryer, iron) were useful

The kitchen could have been better equipped (there was missing napkins, seasonings, more bowls to eat), inside the rooms there weren’t enough hygiene products (was only provided 2 mini bottles of shampoo/shower gel and only 2 toilet paper rolls) for 6 days. A vacuum cleaner would been useful too. The AC need some maintenance (mainly dust cleening cause we suffer a lot with alergies) and the silence mode was too loud as normal mode.

La habitación era amplia y cómoda. La tele muy grande y la cama también muy cómoda y limpia. Tenía todo lo necesario para estar a gusto. No tuvimos ningún problema de ruido y el agua caliente funcionaba perfectamente. Las luces de la habitación que encendíamos por la noche eran muy agradables y creaban un ambiente muy acogedor.

El edificio muy antiguo y con sensación de inseguro. Me quedé un par de veces encerrada en el ascensor y fue un susto. La zona tiene un ambiente bastante raro y desagradable, también transmite inseguridad. Es necesario coger el autobús para llegar a cualquier sitio de interés. Tuvimos un problema con el aire acondicionado (en plena ola de calor con casi 40 grados) y al escribir al teléfono de atención al cliente del apartamento comentando el problema, no obtuvimos ninguna respuesta por su parte. Por suerte el aire se arregló solo al cabo de un día, pero de no ser así hubiera puesto una reclamación, ya que lo mínimo que podían hacer era responder a mis mensajes ofreciendo alguna solución al problema. Para 6 noches que nos quedamos, pusieron muy poco champú/gel y hubiésemos agradecido tener alguna toalla extra ya que son muchos días secándonos con las mismas toallas sin cambiarlas. A la habitación le hacía falta una manita de pintura.
