Apartment Sonata

Great property: spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen. Friendly hosts who gave us homemade cakes and salad from the garden. Great location: a short walk from the town centre and very close (100m) to a good supermarket. Nice running /walking trails from the apartment and a short drive from the trails up the high mountains.

Better curtains in the bedroom would have been good.

Our host was very friendly and helpful, the communication was smooth. We even got a big plate of home-made festive foods (potica, smoked ham and eggs) due to the Easter, the owners were very attentive. The flat was spatious and clean, kids and adults could be easily separated. The location was very good, Mercator was just a few hundred meters away, there are few public chargers as well if you arrive with electric car. The old town is cca 20 minutes walking which is very convenient. In overall we were very positive about this, it was a very good choice.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich mit allem ausgestattet was das Herz begehrt. Sie ist geräumig, hell und sehr ruhig. Die Vermieter sind supernett und hilfsbereit. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiter.

Die Beschreibung für die Schlüsselübergabe war leider falsch, konnte aber durch Telefonat gelöst werden. Da sich die Wohnung im ersten Stock (über schmale Aussentreppe) befindet, ist sie eher nicht für eingeschränkte Personen geeignet.

The hosts are the nicest friendliest people you'll ever meet! We honestly loved our stay. For our arrival, they left a bottle of wine and chocolates on the table which was so nice after a long day of difficult travel. We were gifted tomatoes from their garden and a delicious freshly baked (by the host) cake in the middle of our stay. When we wanted to drop by a local farm to get some cheese, the host was nice enough to call them to make sure they're open and to expect us. The place itself is lovely and clean. It's clearly been renovated recently and is well taken care of. The decor is pretty and well thought out. The town itself is surrounded by gorgeous mountains and you can see them from the patio. The view of the garden is lovely as well. And they also have the most adorable monkeys in their home (right below the rental) that we loved watching on our way in and out. Overall, it's a top notch place and we will absolutely be back if we return to Slovenia, which we definitely hope to do.
