The Applehay was located right in the middle of the forest, which made it a really beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The road leading to it was quite narrow, so it could be a little tricky to get there, but the location was absolutely lovely. The only downside was that the place was quite small, but personally, I really liked it and enjoyed my stay.

I absolutely loved my stay at The Applehay and would totally recommend it! The host was brilliant and gave me lots of locations to go far a walk, and amazingly enough, there is a footpath right next to the property, which can take you to Argal Reservoir.
Also, the bath outside I such a lovely touch!
Everything was perfect!

Charming shepherd's hut with everything you might need for a peaceful break. Huge bonus is the outdoor bath in beautiful tranquil setting.
A draining board would have been helpful
