Maison de vacances 4 personnes

C’est une charmante petite maison très confortable avec tous les équipements nécessaires pouvant accueillir jusqu’à 6 personnes. Proche de la mer et avec une piscine commune avec les autres habitants du domaine.

Compact little property within a private development of 140 units that was perfect for the 2 of us. Kitchen/dining/living area small but quite adequate for making meals and nice outdoor dining area with awning gave us good space to eat at. Property and all fittings like new. Really good sized fridge-freezer. Lovely shower. Air con and blinds and shutters were brilliant for heat control inside the unit. The gated shared swimming pool was lovely and clean and water very pleasant. The short path to the beach through the domaine's private woodland was full of birds and a joy to use. If we'd fancied it there were outdoor table tennis tables and a petanque court situated along the shaded path. The beach itself was superb and sea lovely for swims. Philippe greeted us very warmly and was very helpful at showing us round and assured us he would be on hand if needed, but respected our privacy during our stay. We have only a little French so Google Translate was very helpful at check in and out. Nice restaurants within walking distance but a drive to get into La Tranche Sur Mer town proper. I would definitely book here again as a couple.

Because the weather was fabulous the estate got very busy at the weekend with everyone coming to stay at their properties and the community's pool was too full of families for us to be able to use it. This is a very nice but very compact property and while there are 2 comfortable bedrooms to accommodate 4 people (1 bed is on a mezzanine with little privacy from the living area), I would not have liked to have had to spend any length of time inside in the living area with 4 adults if the weather was bad and you couldn't use the outside space. It was perfect for the 2 of us borh inside and outside in the little private patio area.
