Grosse frayeur: la maison est à côté de la zone ZTL (interdiction de circuler) au coeur d'une zone où les places de parkings sont réservées aux habitants mais nous n'avons pas eu d'amende. En pleine canicule (40 degrés) la climatisation qui n'est qu'au 2è étages (chambres), le reste de la maison est chaude malgré les ventilateurs.

The property was very close to the Duomo, restaurants, and shops. The owner/manager was very responsive to my What'sAp texts. The airconditioned bedroom was large, and the bed was comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked well. The home was clean. We did not use the kitchen to cook, but it looked as if it had all the basic cookware and utensils.

The property is on three different levels. First, you have to step up from the street into the first level living room. The second level has the kitchen and the one bathroom, and the third level has the two bedrooms. The stairs felt very narrow and steep. The living room, kitchen, and the bathroom does not have air conditioning, so it was uncomfortably warm. The only bathroom is on the second floor, so it was inconvenient at night. This home will be extremely challenging for anyone with mobility issues because of all the narrow and steep steps. I would not recommend this home for anyone with little children for the same reason. The home is in the city's ZTL zone, so you cannot park anywhere near the house between the hours of 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. It took us 45 minutes to find a parking spot outside of the city's ZTL zone, which ended up being well over a mile away from the home - no joke! So, although it says that parking near the home is available, please be mindful that it is available only during the hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and you have to walk to and from the house to car. These are very common issues in homes in old cities, not necessarily unique to this property.
