Le petit-déjeuner ne se prend pas à l'hôtel mais dans un restaurant situé dans les jardins du parc de Heian Jingu. Un taxi est réservé par l'hôtel pour nous y conduire. Le petit-déjeuner est exclusivement japonais et excellent. Le personnel de l'hôtel est extrêmement sympathique. Un forfait de 3000 yens en taxi, par jour, est offert. La chambre est exceptionnelle. L'hôtel est situé en plein Gion.
Peu de choses. Le fait que le petit-déjeuner n'est pas dans l'hôtel mais à l'extérieur perturbe un peu et invite à repenser son planning de visite. Le quartier du Gion, même s'il est magnifique, est finalement assez peu animé le soir, et il est difficile de trouver un restaurant ouvert après 19h-19H15.
