Loved the location 20 min from touristy downtown, at the same time the drive was beautiful and safe. We were walking distance from a monumental non-crowded crossing bridge to enjoy sunrise and sunsets. It is located in a quaint, quiet countryside with 360 views. Parking space outside our apartment guaranteed. Place with working TV, got Netflix, kitchen stove, fridge, all needed dishes/utensils. Apartment is old but very clean. The shower stall is small but functional with the best shower pressure and hot water. No drain issues. The apartment was very spacious for my son and I. Newer pull- out couch. No shut out curtains in living room and only partial in bedroom. No AC but bedroom gets a wonderful cool breeze to cool down apartment in late pm. Bedroom next to a busy road which essentially becomes non busy at night. Great spaces for storage.
The best part was the accommodating host, Philip and his wife, who run hotel and these apartments. No request was denied. You can choose to have a decent dinner at the hotel steps away from the apartment. My son left his sunglasses at the restaurant but were returned the next day.
Overall, it is great value compared to downtown, especially if you have a vehicle.
Unfortunately, the wall to the bedroom is paper thin, and I could hear guests speaking loudly up until midnight when I harshly knocked on the wall, two nights in a row. Nevertheless, once they stopped talking, I slept my 7 hours. They were gone on our third night, and it was a perfect evening. I will probably stay here again and take the same risk.
