The house was bright and spacious, with high ceilings that gave it an open, welcoming feel. Located in a quiet area, it was perfect for relaxing. We especially enjoyed the outdoor deck in the evenings as a family, and our son loved the little zip line — a fun extra touch.
Our trip was planned around visiting Sequoia, and since it was our first time, I wasn’t sure where to stay and relied on the property’s website description regarding neighborhood. Once we arrived and spoke with locals, we realized the house is much farther from the main sights of Sequoia than expected. The listing highlighted activities in the area, which made it seem closer, but major landmarks like General Sherman and Moro Rock are almost three hours away. If your focus is exploring the park, this location may not be the most convenient.

The location. The privacy. the bathrooms. most everything was fine.
The sauna was full of cobbwebs which made it unusable. The jaccuzzi was over clorinated and too hot which made it unusable. And we could not figure out how to turn OFF the back patio lights at night which made it too light in the bedrooms. And, the main bedroom bed had terrible fitting sheets!! They just don't fit the bed and was uncomfortable because of that.

Hot tub needs to be cleaned. Sofa bed has sand on the sheet.
